My grad piece for ACAD 2014; I handprinted a woodblock tarot deck of 52 playing cards. The designs are adapted from the minor arcana and reflect the symbolism of both the tarot and the black death, including the three major outbreaks in history. The fourth deck is also hand painted in watercolours, and they are housed in handmade boxes. In these photos the decks are shown on a tablecloth covered in a digital print of mine, 'funeral flowers'.
